Are You Annoyed Yet(i)?

(Our apartment has a combination kitchen and living room. I am chopping vegetables while my wife watches a travel show about hunting for the Yeti in Nepal. I don’t think such weird animals could ever be real, and I say as much and mock the show.)

TV: “And so, the Yeti could be hiding in this remote area of Nepal… It’s so wild and isolated!”

Me: “And what would it eat? Very few plants grow at such a high altitude, so it’s likely a carnivore, and there aren’t many big animals that aren’t also major predators…”

Wife: *annoyed* “It eats the bodies of people who don’t believe in it!”
