Tickled Pink By The Interaction

(One of my favourite webcomic creators frequently does livestreams while drawing comic pages, as both he and his fans enjoy the interaction. Watchers will talk to the creator and each other through a text chat, and the creator will speak to everyone through his microphone. He has an interesting sense of humour. This conversation happens not long after gay marriage was legalized in the United States.)

Creator: “Let’s make [Character]… hot pink!” *fills whole layer in with pink* “Hey, he looks pretty good… I’m just gonna draw him pink from now on. And I’m not gonna ever explain, and people are gonna be like, ‘Why is he suddenly pink now?’ And I’ll just never say anything.”

Chat Member: “It’s gay marriage. It turned him pink.”
