Unfiltered Story #48064

(An old ad campaign improving on police / citizen relationdhips, the catch phrase “the police, your friend” was used. My 16 year old niece has never been in trouble with the police or at risk for it)

We pass a police van and out of the blue and very dead pan:

Niece: The police, your friend my a**. My friends don’t arrest me.

Me: *looking at her incrediously, then cracking up*

Niece: was it really that funny?

Me: (tears still running fown my cheeks) yes. Yes it was that funny
