We’re at the dinner table talking after finishing dinner. My Girlfriend is talking about her coffee van job stopping at a hospice. Up until this point, she had no idea what a hospice was.
GF: “Is that the place where people die?”
Mum: “Yeah”
GF: “So why do they get coffee?”
Mum: “They’re not dead yet.”
GF: “So how do they come out?”
Mum: “It’s more for the staff-”
Dad (cutting in): “In a box”
*Table dissolves into laughter*
