Unfiltered Story #328075
Once, I was in long line at a major drugstore. The clerk was getting more frustrated and irritable. I asked, in a normal tone of voice, if she could call another clerk. She slammed the purchase on the counter, and shouted, “DON’T tell me what to do!’ There was a loud gasp from the ten person line. I walked back to the pharmacy where the manager was. I repeated the story, and the pharmacist was so shocked that she dropped all her pills. I said that I did not want the clerk fired, only re-trained. The manager, with her steely gaze, marched up to the counter and asked the clerk to come with her. I do hope that she still had a job!
