Unfiltered Story #28295

*I share a house with two other young professionals, one of whom is female. At this point I’m unfortunately off work due to having done some heavy lifting in the wrong manner and herniated myself in my groin. I’m currently recovering after having it fixed with surgery.*

Female housemate *groaning heavily and flopping down onto the couch next to me*: Ugh…sometimes I envy you guys. You never have to know what it’s like when that time of the month comes around.

Me: My entire groin and stomach area is a ball of agony every time I move, I have a headache from not being able to sleep much these last few days, and still feel nauseous even with the medication they gave me.

Female housemate:…okay, maybe you do then…and you have my sympathies for that.
