We have a fair few people doing this:
Customer: Hello! Where is your soft play
Me: Around the front of the building, just follow the path round.
Today? Hello? Where is the soft play?
Me: It is around the front of the building. Just follow the path to the front (of the building).
Customer: But I don’t know where that is?
Me: Pointing. THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING!
There then ensued as fierce conversation between staff as to what was the front of the building. My argument was, if somebody can’t take directions to the front of the building then more fool them.
We left it and started gossiping about something else…
