Unfiltered Story #28073

Unfiltered | April 19, 2016

(I am on a field trip to Costa Rica and we are staying in a foresty area where mosquito nets are required. I did not bring my own but luckily the bunk I chose came with one. This exchange happens when two girls approach me on the first night).

Girl 1: “Can we have your mosquito net?”

Me: “Well I’m using it…”

Girl 1: “Yeah, but we need it.” (By the way, the girl comes from a very wealthy family and is extremely spoiled).

Me: “Sorry, no.”

Girl 1: “Ugh!”

Girl 2: “We should steal it later.”

Me: “Excuse me?”

Girl 1: “Good idea! Or I’ll call daddy to buy me a ticket home!”

(They couldn’t steal my net as it was attached to the ceiling. Furthermore, when she called her dad he yelled at her for being spoiled and complaining too much!)
