Unfiltered Story #18422
(My fiancé, daughter, and I decide to go to a popular fast food restaurant for lunch, but we receive twice the amount of food that we actually ordered. The cashier issues us a refund but allows us to keep the extra food. We sit down and notice a presumably homeless man with a coffee napping in a corner booth.
Fiancé: (approaching the booth with the bag of extra food) Excuse me, sir, but they gave us way too much extra food. Would you like a burger?
Man: (appearing slightly confused, but grateful) Oh, yes, thank you!
(My fiance returns to our table and we don’t say a word about it. However, another customer approaches us on his way out of the restaurant.)
Customer: That was really nice of you. Thank you.
(We were confused as to why he was thanking us, too, but I was very proud of my fiancé! My daughter and I are lucky to have him!)
