(Our toddler daughter, who is very much a parrot when it comes to new words, is not allowed to play with phones unsupervised, but knows that if she gets caught to hand it over to us. She has just taken my husband’s phone off his desk and handed it to him..)

Daughter: “Thank you!”

Husband: “Thank you..”

Me: “That’s what she does. She finds loopholes..”

Daughter: ” ‘Oophose!”

(She’s probably going into law or politics when she grows up…)
