(My mother has just picked me up from a particuarly annoying day at college. I am ranting to her)
Me: “I HATE (professor)! She plays favorites! She gave everyone extra time on the paper but me because she doesn’t like me.”
Mom: “Well, that’s an important life lesson for you kiddo.”
Me: “What? That (Professor) stinks?”
Mom: “No…don’t listen to the special needs office anymore. They always give you crappy people.”
Me: “But…YOU recommended (professor) to me…because she’s supposedly one of the best. Does that mean the true lesson is never listen to your mom?”
Mom: “Crap! I guess so.”
