(In choir, we’re singing “Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day,” which at one point goes, “In a manger laid, and wrapped I was / So very poor, this was my chance / Betwixt an ox and a silly poor ass / To call my true love to my dance” After we mess up the first bit of the verse very badly, the director decides to inform us of this immediately after the third line:)

Director: “Y’all are silly poor asses!”
