Unfiltered Story #18402

(I’m working behind the till on a very busy day in a student town. As we have 3 tills on one counter and a single queue, which was directly behind the customer I was serving, I notice a couple of students, a guy and a girl, letting people go first when the other 2 tills become available and when I finish with my customer they come to my till.)

Girl: Hi. He has something he’s been wanting to do for a while

(She pushes him forward. He silently hands me a material flower and runs off. I didn’t recognise the guy so I have no idea why but it made my day. I left that job over a year ago and I still have the flower. Thank you to that guy and his friend)
