Unfiltered Story #28498
I am a doctor working in a big hospital. All staff wear a big, colourful badge that states with occupation you have (in my case it says “doctor”). It is my first week working at said hospital and the building I am working in has 9 floors. I have been running up and down the stairs all day long and towards the end of a long day I start getting a bit confused about on which floor I currently am. I step into the elevator to go down and get off my shift. An older man steps into the elevator with me, looks at my nametag and badge for a long time and the following conversation occurs:
Man: Is there a pharmacy somewhere here?
Me: Yes, there is one at the bottom floor of this building next to the elevators. Just take this elevator and you get there.
Man: Where?
Me: It is just 2 or 3 floors down, just stay in the elevator and go down and you get there.
Man: Don’t you know if it is 2 or 3 floors. What’s wrong with you? Do you have a problem with learning things?
