Cooking Up Some Trouble

(My mother goes on a one-week trip, leaving my father on his own. I take my kid to visit him.)

Grandchild: “Without Grandma here, who cooks for you?”

Grandfather: “I do it myself.”

Grandchild: “No way! Men can’t cook. You’ll get burnt! Pick up the phone and order.”

Grandfather: “Order from a takeaway restaurant?”

Grandchild: “No, order Nanny to come back, or you’ll starve!”
