You’ve Been Baconated

I worked at a burger chain that is both in the USA and Canada.

A customer comes through the drive-thru, and as anyone who has worked in fast food will know, people ordering items from other restaurants are extremely common.

Me: “Welcome to [Fast Food Restaurant], how can I help you?”

Customer: “Could I get a baconator?”

Me: “Like from Wendy’s?”

Customer: “Yeah, that’s the one!”

I’m so over people doing that and thinking it’s funny, so I hang up my mic and just let them sit there for a minute. Thankfully, no one else comes in through the drive-thru.

Customer: “Hey, is anyone there?”

I come back on the mic.

Me: “Did you figure out where you are yet?”

Suffice to say, they got actual items we served and left with their tails between their legs.
