(There is a new kid at my school who is Polish and doesn’t speak much English. I am with him and a friend who is also Polish but speaks English. Two girls in our year walk up to us.)
Girl #1: *to new kid* “Hola!”
Friend: “Wrong language!”
Girl #2: “Wait, that’s Spanish.”
(Girl #1 and Girl #2 are now laughing at this point while my friend and I are face-palming.)
New Kid: *in Polish* “What’s happening?”
Friend: *says something in Polish*
New Kid: *face-palms*
Me: “I’m guess you just explained?”
Friend: “Yup.”
