This guy is buying a big, expensive gaming PC, like real top-of-the-line stuff.

Me: “Sir, may I suggest that for a purchase in this price range, you buy the extra damage warranty. It really is recommended.”

Customer: “No, that’s always a waste of money.”

I help him put it on the back of his pickup, and he leaves.

He’s back an hour later, wanting a refund because the PC is damaged. The box is crushed on one side, and the PC tower inside is ruined. This really is a significant amount of damage, so suspecting something, I go outside and see the customer’s pickup truck also has a big dent on the passenger side, and the passenger window is smashed.

Me: “Did you have an accident on the way home?”

Customer: “No, my pickup was like that before.”
