Your Reasonableness Is Unreasonable

(I am on a video chat with my significant other, after I got my hair cut short.)

S.O.: “You cut your hair! Why did you cut your hair?”

Me: “Well, if I’m moving up there and getting new job, I need to look presentable.”

S.O.: “What if I cut my hair super short? What if I cut my hair down to where my ears are?”

(Note: her hair is shoulder length now, and has been since I’ve started talking to her.)

Me: “It’s your hair, baby. You do whatever you want to it.”

S.O.: “…No. That’s not the right answer!”
