Your Insult Went Through The Roof

(Our art teacher in my freshman year was really laid back and some of our classes were spent with the students and the teacher trading light insults while working. One day the subject of most of them was said teacher’s lack of hair. I was distracted by my project but remembered something my middle school music teacher often said to students wearing hats in his class.)

Me: *without thinking* “An empty shed don’t need no roof.”

(I was mortified at first, but luckily the teacher and most of the students found it funny.)
