(Our class is assigned Rubbish Duty for the period and the area my friend and I were given an area with relatively little rubbish. We are standing around when our teacher appears.)
Friend: *out loud, very audible* “Gotta look like I’m doing something so the teacher likes me.”
Teacher: *seeing friend picking up paper, gives me dirty look* “Good Job, [Friend]!”
(My friend, laughing, turned to face me and got a look that could destroy the entire universe.)
