You Think You’ve Got Problems?

(My seven-year-old brother is doing some math work and my dad is helping him. Worth to note, that my dad is a math professor.)

Dad: “Are you sure that is 17?”

Seven-Year-Old: “Yes, of course!” *proceeds to explain why*

Dad: “Oh, you’re right!”

Me: “[Brother], aren’t you happy with yourself now?”

Seven-Year-Old: “Well, not really… After all, everyone makes mistakes!”

Me: *mumbling to myself* “Even when you’re a math professor?”

Seven-Year-Old: “Especially if you’re a math professor!”

(When, you tell your brother, that everyone makes mistakes, he’s bound to use it well!)
