Unfiltered Story #47773

Unfiltered | April 25, 2016

(My mom has just picked me up from the library to go out for dinner, and are waiting to turn left out of the parking lot. She is not familiar with my city or its roads.)

Mom: ‘So I saw another doctor today, and he still couldn’t find anything wrong with me… did you have a good visit with your brother last week?’

Me: ‘… for the most part. He can be a bit–‘ (I realize we’re in the third lane and haven’t turned yet…. meaning she intends to go straight into the opposing parking lot) ‘nononoDON’TDON’TDON’TDON’T!!!’ *pointing frantically at the concrete divider in front of us*

Mom: ‘OH CRAP!’ *turns car* ‘… well, I’m glad ONE of us was paying attention!’ *laughs*

(The divider is only sidewalk-height and relatively easy to miss, but would definitely have been unpleasant to drive over at full speed! I managed to guide her to the correct entrance without any further problems.)

Question of the Week

Have you ever served a bad customer who got what they deserved?

I have a story to share!
