Unfiltered Story #28202
(I’m carpooling back to college with a couple of young college guys. I am the only girl in the car. It’s a 7-8 hour drive with a lot of long stretches of two lane roads through open farmland. The guys eventually start a contest to see how many cars they can pass at one time.)
Driver: *Passes 8 cars at once going about 90-100 miles an hour*
Me: *screaming internally while outwardly appearing calm*
Driver: *laughing* You okay?
Me: I would like to get to [College Town] in one piece, if you don’t mind.
(They both laughed it off, but they didn’t try to pass long streams of cars for the rest of the trip. Needless to say, I never carpooled with them ever again.)
