(For Valentine’s Day, part of my wife’s surprise is a blinking heart constructed in a game called Minecraft.)
Wife: “Aw, that’s so sweet.”
(A giant spider starts crawling around the heart.)
Wife: “Oh, a spider. I will call him Bob. Hi, Bob!”
(The spider starts coming after the player, and I grab the mouse.)
Wife: “Um, why is Bob coming towards us?”
(The spider attacks.)
Wife: “Ah! Get away, get away!”
(I kill the spider, and it drops a spider eye.)
Wife: “Well, that kind of broke the sweet moment.”
