Writing A Republican Nightmare

(My friend and I are consulting on a short story we are writing together. My friend is very conservative.)

Me: “When I revise this story, I’m making the main character lesbian.”

Friend: *squirms*

Me: “And the villain is gonna be a trans guy. And all the other characters will be alcoholic atheist terrorists.”
