(This is an HIV research institute. My boss keeps a stash of anti-retroviral drugs in case of any lab accidents where someone might get exposed to the virus.)
Boss: “When I went to the pharmacy to get these, they gave me a lecture about safe sex and condom usage. I just kept quiet and didn’t say anything.”
Me: “Why didn’t you tell them it was for work?”
Boss: “I’m not sure that would have been any better.”
