Women Have To Shoulder The Responsibility

(My roommate and I are both females in relationships. She’s reading about school dress codes and how the officials seem to be treating it.)

Roommate: “They’re acting as though the sight of a shoulder is enough to make boys unable to focus in class. I don’t get it. I can understand maybe a super low tank top, but shoulders?”

Me: “It’s not like this is Victorian times, where the sight of an ankle was terrible.”

Roommate: “Shoulders. Really?” *pulls aside shirt to show me her shoulder* “I mean, isn’t my shoulder just the sexiest part of me?”

Me: *deadpan* “Absolutely. I’m feeling the urge to ravish you right now.”
