With Great Bacon, Comes Great Responsibility, Part 23

| Friendly | February 3, 2016

(I love green bean casserole so I decide to make some for dinner even though it’s after Thanksgiving. This happens over text with my best friend. She loves bacon.)

Me: “I made green bean casserole for dinner.”

Best Friend: “Ew.”

Me: “Gasp!”

Best Friend: “Haha. I already told you that I hated green bean casserole. I loathe green beans in all forms. More than you hate peas.”

Me: “Impossible.”

Best Friend: “Not even close.”

Me: “No one can hate something more than I hate peas.”

Best Friend: “You underestimate my hatred. I hate green beans as much as I hate coffee.”

Me: “Hmmm… even with bacon in it?”

Best Friend: “Yes. Even then. Green beans would only taint the sanctity of Bacon.”

Me: “I love how you capitalized bacon.”

Best Friend: “Bacon is important.”
