Wishful Blinking

(My boyfriend and I are eating dinner when he suddenly tells me to stay still. He reaches over and pulls a stray eyelash off of my nose.)

Boyfriend: “Now make a wish and blow it away.”

(I do.)

Boyfriend: “Aw, you wished it would get in my food, and it came true!”
