(My teacher is passing back tests. The girl sitting next to me receives hers.)
Girl: “What the heck? How did I get a 9 out of 26?!”
Me: “Here’s mine if you want to compare answers.”
(I hand her my test. She looks over both of them.)
Girl: “We only had one answer different! How come you got a 92, and I got a…”
(She pulls out a calculator.)
Girl: “35!”
Me: “Why don’t you go ask Mrs. [Teacher]?”
Girl: “I think that’d be a good idea.”
(She picks up her test and brings in over to the teacher’s desk. She talks to her for a few seconds then slowly walks back to her desk and sits down.)
Girl: “9/26 was the date.”
