(I am in eighth grade Language Arts. It is close to winter break, so the teacher is letting my class watch ‘Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.’ At this point, Tom is believed to be dead, so the Judge is giving a speech to the town.)
Judge From Movie: “…and so, I believe that even though Tom is no longer with us, there is a little bit of Tom inside all of us.”
Friend: “What?!”
(My class couldn’t stop laughing, and the teacher just hung her head.)
