Wife Strife

(All of the staff members at a summer camp I attend are at that point in their twenties where they’re all off getting married and bringing new people into our camp family. Staff Members #1 and #2 have been married for a year, while #3 and #4 have only been married for a few weeks at this point.)

Staff Member #4: *after #3 has gotten someone out in a game* “Good job, Wife!”

Staff Member #1: *turns to her husband* “Why do you never call me wife anymore?!”
