When You Have To Butt In

| Related | June 3, 2014

(My younger half-sister and I are not really on good terms. She is super popular, snotty, and insists on only wearing name-brand clothes. I am more on the easy going side, and didn’t grow up with money, unlike my sister. My dad asks me to take my sister to the mall so that we can ‘bond,’ even if my sister is rude and mean to me.)

Sister: “By the way, don’t talk to me or walk near me. My friends are here.”

(This really makes me upset, but then I smirk.)

Me: *yelling* “OKAY, [SISTER], I WON’T EMBARRASS YOU!”

Sister: “Shut up!”

Me: *still yelling* “WHY? IS SOMETHING WRONG?!”

(The whole store turns and stares at us. Some of the parents/older adults are laughing as they know what’s up.)

Sister: *stomps away*

Me: “DON’T FORGET, [SISTER], WE NEED TO PICK UP YOUR BUTT CREAM AFTER THIS!”

(After my sister left the store, a parent came up to me and told me my sister has been bullying her daughter and I made her kid’s day. My dad was mad at me, but our step-mother told me I taught my half-sister a lesson.)
