I remember when I was around twelve, my dad and I ate at a chain restaurant. When he paid the cashier accidentally gave him an extra $20 with his change.
Dad: “Excuse me, miss, I think you gave me the wrong change—”
She immediately started shrieking.
Cashier: “I DID NOT! I KNOW WHAT I GAVE YOU! DON’T TRY TO SCAM ME!”
Dad: “Sorry, my mistake.”
He tucked the bill in his wallet and walked out…
