When Tech Support Is “On” It
I work in IT. We had a scheduled power outage over the weekend. As such, we powered everything off before leaving for the weekend. On Monday morning, I came in early and turned the network equipment on and put up signs reminding everyone to plug their equipment back in.
I had no less than eight people come to complain that they had plugged their equipment back in but it was not working. Apparently, it was my fault, as I neglected to remind them to turn it back on after they plugged it back in.
