When Mankind Hits Guac Bottom
I work in a high-end grocery store. Prices aren’t ridiculous, but they’re certainly up there. For some reason, we ordered too many avocados, so they’re currently on sale to the point where I think they’re cheaper than the place where I shop.
A customer looks at the prices of the avocados and then turns to me.
Customer: “I know your avocados are on sale, but I wasn’t expecting them to be this cheap!”
Me: “I know! It’s a great deal, right?”
Customer: “No! I shop here because this place attracts a nicer clientele! If word gets out that the avocados are this cheap, then it’ll attract a different economic bracket! Or worse, the Mexicans!”
