When Common Sense Hits A Wall

(My mom and I are at her home. She is currently in the kitchen and I am in the living room. There is currently a wall between the two of us.)

Mom: “[My Name], have you seen this?”

Me: “Seen what?”

Mom: “This.”

Me: “Mom, there is a wall in the way. I can not see what you are gesturing at right now.”
