When An ‘F’ Isn’t Bad Enough

(This takes place in my high school band class. My band director is known for his sarcasm, but sometimes it can be hard to tell if he is serious or not. This is after four people had accidentally dropped their instruments.)

Band Director: “Okay, the next time someone comes in without their instrument because you ran over it with your car or whatever and it’s in for repairs, I am going to give you an F for the rest of the quarter. And I’m going to call all of your teachers and tell them to give you F’s, too. And you’ll never be able to eat or drink in class again. And whenever you walk through a doorway, you’ll be tasered!”
