What More Can We Do?!
I’m at my till one day with the light red, a closed sign on prominent display, and my gate shut.
Suddenly, a customer tries to force the gate.
Me: “Sorry, but this till is closed!”
Customer: “You’re standing there at the till, so you must still be serving!”
Me: “Nope, definitely closed.”
The fact that this customer had to bypass two actually open and empty tills to get to me was just the icing on the cake.
