The Whistling Is Super Effective
(I am in my undergrad studies. I decide to rest in an empty classroom while waiting for my club meeting to start for the day. To pass the time, I play Pokémon while whistling one of the route songs from the original Red/Blue games. Another student walks by the classroom door, only to come back and look at me with this confused look on his face.)
Student: “Is that Pokémon?”
Me: *stops whistling* “Yep!”
Student: *smiles widely* “Thank you!”
(He then walked off with that smile still on his face. It felt good to know that other people still remembered the original Pokémon games.)
