Student: “I am so mad at my mom. She killed my weed plant.”
Teacher: “For your sake, I am going to assume that by ‘weed,’ you mean a dandelion or a thistle, or something similar.”
Student: “No, miss. Do you want to see a picture?”
Teacher: “Does it look like a dandelion or a thistle?”
Student: “…No.”
Teacher: “Then please don’t show me something I would have to report.”
