Wearing Heels Is In My DNA
(I’m in my biology class talking about genetics and how they affect your height. I am about 5’1″, but I always wear heels to make myself look about 2-3 inches taller. My biology teacher, who is about 5’3”, asks me to stand up.)
Teacher: “See, [My Name] and I are about the same height, but that doesn’t mean we have the exact same genetic code. We have a similar genetic code for height, but not the same genetic code.”
Me: “Well, I’m wearing heels, so I guess we’re even less similar.”
(My teacher looks at my shoes.)
Teacher: “Adjustable traits!”
