Wants The ‘Highest’ Rank

(This was when I was my last day in first grade and I was getting my report card. On my previous report card, I was placed 10th out of the whole class, but on the one that I get, I read 3rd on my placement for the whole class.)

Me: “Mom, it says here I got third place for the whole class.”

Mom: “That’s great honey! You should be proud. Before you got tenth place and now you got third. I’m so proud of you.”

Me: “But mooom. I don’t want to be third. That’s a low number, I want to be tenth!”
