*I was very obsessed with dogs when I was 5 years old, so I was constantly petting dogs and whatnot. I approach this woman with a dog*
Me: Oh, what a lovely dog you have!
Woman: Thank you!
Me: My mummy won’t let me have a dog.
Woman: Oh, that’s a shame.
Me: I want a guide dog, because, I’m a little blind, you see.
(My mother comes in now and hears this)
Woman:Oh, I’m sure that she wants to give you a dog
Me: Nope. She doesn’t want to get me a dog (The woman shoots my mom the dirtiest look imaginable, and says “goodbye” to me. I adopted a dog a few months later)
