Villainous Spoilers

(I’m at my new boyfriend’s house, meeting his flat mates for the first time. We watch a movie they’ve all seen before and tell me is brilliant. A female character comes onscreen and is presented as being a “good guy.”)

Me: “Well, she’s obviously evil.”

Everyone: “What? How could you have guessed that already?”

Me: “She has thick dark eyebrows. Only villains have thick dark eyebrows in movies.”

(Her being the villain all along was the main plot twist of the movie.)
