Using Rock To Get The Paper

(I am in class doing a group project where we team up with a partner and share information with other groups. My partner and I are almost done but one of us has to get up to get a paper from another group.)

Me: “I don’t wanna get up.”

Partner: “Me, either.”

Me: “Rock, paper, scissors?”

(We tie three times in a row. I don’t know why but this happened to me a lot in high-school. After the third tie I look him dead in the face and say.)

Me: “Don’t pick rock…”

(He got up without another word and got the paper.)
