Unicorns, Flamingos, And Math, Oh My!

(We’re in pre-calc, and my friend sits behind me. His desk partner has a bright pink folder. I turn around to talk to him and see the folder.)

Me: *gasp* “It looks like a unicorn!”

Friend: “Unicorn! Is that a unicorn pelt?”

Me: “I can’t believe you have a unicorn-hunting license.”

(Adjacent to me is another kid, but for some reason he has pink post-it notes all over his body. After finishing homework…)

Me: “Why do you think that kid has post-it notes all over him?”

Friend: “I dunno.”

Me: “Are they unicorn pelts?!”

(My friend says “Maybe” but I interpret it as “fleggy”)

Me: “Fleggy?”

Friend: “Flamingo leggy.”

Me: “I can’t believe he has flamingo feathers on him. But wait! Why are they square? They’re math flamingos.”

Friend: “From the fourth dimension.”

(I couldn’t make this up if I tried!)
