(It’s the first day of the semester and the professor has us answer some basic icebreaker questions to get to know us. One of the questions was where you would like to live if not in the US.)
Student: “If I were to live anywhere not in the US, it would be Alaska since I’d like to see the northern lights.”
(The face my professor made was hilarious, especially since she’d just said that people often make that mistake with Hawaii, her home state.)
