Treasure, Not Trauma

I work in an aquarium supply store. A customer comes up holding a decoration for his tank.

Customer: “Hi, yeah, I bought this yesterday and it scared my fish.” 

Me: “…It scared your fish?”

Customer: “Yeah. They won’t come out from behind the filter now. I think they think it’s real.”

Me: “They think the pirate ship is real?” 

Customer: “Well… they’re tropical.”

I decided not to press the issue and helped him exchange it for a treasure chest instead.
